Digitizing Layers
Build precise spatial layers through digitization
In the previous video, you learned how to create your first map project—from exploring the dashboard, creating a new project, to basic workspace navigation.
Now we level up: how to digitize spatial data to build layers ready for analysis.

Quick Step-by-step

1. Create a new layer first

Open New Layer

Enter the name and description
-
Choose the layer type: point, linestring, or polygon

Choose the folder in which to place this layer

2. Open your layer, then click the “digitize” or “draw” icon on the layer

3. Enable digitize/draw mode by clicking the
on the right-hand interface

4. Start digitizing according to your needs
Why It Matters
Digitizing is the foundation of spatial data. With clean and precise layers, advanced analysis such as overlay, spatial queries, and location scoring becomes faster, repeatable, and defensible.
